Born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, I have seen first-hand the transformation that has occurred in this community and region over the last 20 years--both positive and challenging. I'm ready to take my experience in local government and nonprofit management to ensure that Cleveland Park remains a community where people of all ages want to make their home and where businesses can invest and thrive.

Growing up north of Cleveland Park, I attended local schools, practiced soccer at Hearst Park, and even landed one of my first paying jobs at 2Amys Neapolitan Pizzeria. Some of my fondest memories as a teen are of going to movies at Uptown Theater and enjoying Vace pizza slices after school.

My wife and I decided that we wanted to plant roots in Cleveland Park and purchased our first home together in the Broadmoor Cooperative Apartments. And just last year, we welcomed our first child, a son, whom we are looking forward to raising in this wonderful community.

In 2015, I was elected to serve as a member of the board for the Broadmoor where I presently hold the position of Vice President and liaison to our community's Green Committee. Through my work on the board, I have been committed to the fiduciary responsibility required of the role, paired with a focus on how to make board decisions and building policies more accessible. I have also been involved in developing our building's fire safety team; maintaining and finding ways to enhance the sense of community.

Professionally, I have spent my career in public service. In my current role working for a nonprofit, I support more than 3,000 nonprofits across the globe by developing and providing training and tools, offering direct consultations, and focusing on retaining our existing partners. My previous work has included managing a global women's leadership initiative, consulting for an economic development nonprofit, serving as policy and constituent services lead for local elected officials, and field organizing for a number of local, state, and national campaigns. I earned my B.A. from Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) and M.P.A. from New York University.

I'm an avid fan of all Washington sports teams (some might call me a sports junkie!), a FONZ, a community gardener at Twin Oaks, and a weekend regular at story time at the Cleveland Park Library and the Macomb Street Playground with my family.
